Sixty percent dark chocolate with activated almonds and creamed coconut worked in, roughly thirteen percent almonds to eleven percent coconut. The almond gives crunch, the coconut softens the edges. Unroasted Ecuadorian cacao sweetened with coconut sugar rather than refined sugar. Dairy free, gluten free, vegan and organic. Ombar began in 2007 in a Cambridge kitchen and is now made at the company's own factory in the city. The house method keeps cacao unroasted and processed at low temperature, with coconut sugar in place of refined sugar. Almonds, coconut and cacao are all certified organic.
